JLBG's Collections Diversity & Collections Policy
Juniper Level Botanic Garden's focus is to determine and showcase the diversity of ornamental plants that will thrive in USDA Zone 7b (with the exception of our Amorphophallus collection).
JLBG not only functions as a display garden but also as a 28-acre ex-situ conservation, research, and development campus.
New plants from plant explorations, seed exchanges, internal breeding programs, and from those received from other gardeners around the world, are evaluated for their garden worthiness, their adaptability to the climate of the southeastern US, and their ability to peacefully co-exist with our natives.
